I am a Ligonier native with over 30 years of professional business experience, having worked as a personal and administrative assistant, as well as a consultant to local individuals and small businesses. My strengths are organization and the ability to prioritize your needs to enable your home or business office to run smoothly and efficiently.
Over the years, I've expressed my creative personality in several ways. As a homebody at heart, I'm accomplished in landscaping and gardening, basic home maintenance, household care, painting and interior decoration, as well as photography. I've been exposed to and have become knowledgeable about antiques and fine art, as well as increasing my knowledge of interior design.
I became interested in learning fine art decoupage some years ago (becoming a member of the National Guild of Decoupeurs) and couple it with various mediums, including faux paint techniques, to turn old furniture into updated pieces for the home without spending a fortune. The best part is, we can be green by "recycling" perfectly good furniture, which reduces our carbon footprint! Also, I've been interested in photography for over 30 years, which has been an advantage both in business and as a creative outlet.
My philosophy is that your home can be your oasis of comfort and charm without having to spend thousands of dollars. I have an eye for color and complimentary patterns, arranging possessions to their best advantage and designing living space so it flows smoothly.
I am extremely focused, highly organized and detail oriented... skills which I can use to help you in your office or home to take some of the burden off you when you're feeling stressed.
